From the Garden : Herb Bundles

Today is the launch of "From the Garden". The beginning of offering speciality garden offerings from In Search of Our Garden estate. I have dedicated the last 6 months working toward a Legacy Garden. A botanical garden with cascading flowers, rows, and rows of blooms, and on slow Saturday mornings I would invite people over to sell them on the porch. The same porch that my great grandmother sat on day in and day out. Those dreams were shattered, well I wouldn't say that, they were deferred. No water in the garden made it really difficult this growing season.

But, I still learned a lesson and something else was in abundance. Herbs! The herbs were resilient and showed me what I truly needed this season. So, I have taken the time to prepare a new offering from the garden that will bring pleasure to you, your health, and even your kitchen.

The Herb Bundles are thoughtfully curated bundles of herbs grown by me at Big Mama's. What is so unique about the herb bundles is that I will curate three different bundles- medicinal, beauty, and culinary.

Each medicinal herb bundle is a handpicked selection of herbs based on their healing property and essence. I have paired each with other complimentary herbs that can be used for teas or infusions. Anchored in countless years of studying herbalism, I will also offer bundles that are both prearranged and custom made.

From the Garden and this launch is really important to me. It is something I am holding dear to my heart and deliberately nurturing. Marking the beginning of weaving my personal journey with Big Mama's estate, it is how I am directly using my inheritance of land to continue her legacy.

I hope every bundle purchase, not only heals every customer but is a seed sown to heal the community. Profits from the bundles will go toward rebuilding Big Mama's house as a community center home and an urban botanical garden.

The Herb Bundle is a curation of seasonal, garden fresh herbs, hand harvested, and sustainably grown. I bring the energy of each season and all that it may carry with it into each herb bundle.

The Weekly Fall Herb Bundles will be a collection of herbs such as sage, rosemary, thyme, mint, oregano, basil, dill, parsley. Custom herb bundles could include a vitamin C enriched bundle for the upcoming season such as lemongrass, mountain mint, and lemon balm to help build immunity to viral infections. Another beautiful part of this story is that some bundles will include foraged medicinal herbs.

I will also be attentive to custom needs by making herbal blends for migraines, weight management, and even facial steams.

Local delivery can be accommodated. We will also announce stockists that will carry both fresh bundles as well as dried bundles. Oh, the herb bundles will be great as an add on to the other apothecary offerings.
